Hellboy II: The Golden Army 2008
This movie is a prime example of why “letting them cook” can be a great thing and I am so mad that we will probably never get a third sequel.

The Equalizer 2014
I was tempted to give this a 3.5 because, after watching it so many times, it sort of becomes an act of comfort for me and the cracks in this movie begin to show. I rewatched this on a whim and absolutely locked in. At 95 minutes total runtime, how could you not? Directed by Pete Travis (and writer Alex Garland), this is a lean, mean,…

Trap 2024
This is objectively a 2.5 star film (true mid) but I had a lot of fun watching Hartnett psychopath his way out increasing levels of extremely improbable situations. He seemed like he was really having the time of his life playing Cooper which made it all the more enjoyable to watch. I didn’t need the weird and unnecessary “popstar hostage channeling the mom’s psychic ghost” scene in the car, though. Also, who goes out to buy merch between the songs…
