incredibly difficult watch, but so powerful. so many mixed feelings with the men that took years to come out with a statement, or the ones refusing to go public, and even the outcome of the civil case, all of it feels so overwhelming but at the same time so frustrating that the bare minimum is such a victory. the importance of what Shiori Ito did by not only speaking up but fighting for herself and others no matter how alone she was cannot be overstated.
