This was kind of a silly movie about James Stewart and his attempts to find peace with the 19th century Native Americans. The romance was easily the worst part of the movie. I think I liked Dances with Wolves better and I remember finding that problematic at best. I can't get it a pass "of its time" because the entire movie feels very easy.

Wicked Little Letters 2023
I was mildly disappointed by who the letter writer was because that was my guess in the first few minutes of the movie. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be a huge surprise. The movie reminded me of the season finale of the third season of Curb Your Enthusiasm: swearing is fun! The acting performances were good, but the movie was slight.

The Killing of a Chinese Cookie 2008

Invisible Life 2019
The emotional tale of two sisters in Rio de Janeiro who are separated by the men in their lives (particularly, their father). One follows her heart and has it broken by a young man. She returns to Brazil, but is exiled from the family. The other marries, but doesn’t seem to have much love in her life. A tough weekend for women with this and Raise the Red Lantern. The final section that moved into the future held the sad heart of the movie.
