Bearman watchin’ films. I have a deep love of horror and a deep hatred for anyone who uses the term “elevated horror.”

Inconsistent characters, weird pacing to make room for the framing narrative, and that annoying thing prequels do where every single thing from the first movie has to be explained, but it was still certainly an enjoyable enough film. I’m not gonna watch it again, but it’s fine for one watch.

Throwing away your entire life in the pursuit of feral man wiener is insane but such is the power of Phil Collins I suppose.

What do you get when you take some of the most iconic stars from the most iconic action films and put them all in one movie with a bunch of guns and explosions?

The most by-the-numbers dickwaving contest that fails to understand what made those classic action films so good. I forced myself to finish the film because I don’t like myself and even I don’t think I deserved such treatment.

Sylvester Stallone cuts a dude’s head off with a knife really fast though so that was hilarious.

  • Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance

    Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance

    ★★½

Not as bad as I expected but still nothing all that good. The fights look cool and have fun choreography at times but the characters are bland and the couple of plot twists the show has to offer don’t land because they don’t really do anything with them. It’s also got a hamfisted ending.

I’ve certainly seen worse! But should you watch it, even as a Gundam fan? Eh.
