pretty good musical, actually liked the music a lot more than expected. too corny at moments (did not like that weird dance scene, it was giving highschool theatre kid) but its forgivable. wish there were more scenes showing them learning sorcery- they mention they’re gonna take classes together then never show that? all we see is elphaba struggling then suddenly at the end she has god tier power. we never see glinda do an ounce of magic (beyond the intro) so i don’t know when she learns. maybe in part 2?

dogshit movie. first of all why did i have no warning that she would be pregnant and become a mother.. thats gross and if id known before i wouldnt have watched it.
second of all every person the main characters date is so cartoonishly bad that theres no real threat or dilemma and this makes the main characters unlikeable fucking idiots for being in relationships with them for no reason. literally just write better characters. how tha fuck can i take this movie seriously when they use that many shallow trope characters (vain entitled model, uptight rich bitch girl etc)Translated from by -
