There are few films/shows that I prefer to watch dubbed. Cowboy Bebop has always been one of them. The English voice actors have left a permanent impression on my psyche.

The opening convenience store scene is actually one of my favorite moments from Bebop as a whole.

Shot composition and action are both so cinematically beautiful. And anytime they cut to a shot where they animate a wide angle lens/fish-eye perspective I swear I lose my fuckin’ mind.

This feels like this might be a film that gets better with subsequent viewings. I’ll definitely need to rewatch.

The couple, sexy. The plot, sexy. Even the cinematography with this kind of hazy glow to it, sexy

Some real, positive Beta-boi representation here.

So wouldn’t he be spared the knowledge of his own deaths?

While I appreciate that he talks about still being afraid, I’d…

Was definitely a bit confused along the way. That confusion is probably just user error, but maybe I didn’t expect this to be so experimental.

I’ll absolutely need to see it again. The final act was gutting. The cut to the mother falling out of her chair…

** Watched during a midnight screening at the New Beverly Cinema where they showed a trailer for Man on Fire before it. “I wish… you had… more time.” 💥
