After having watched only recently Corbucci’s The Great Silence, I thought I’d give this one a shot too, half expecting to see another great classic. Unfortunately, it all fell a bit flat. I didn’t care much for the characters, the so-called cause seemed unimportant even to the characters themselves and all in all, it just felt like a run-of-the-mill Western with little to no depth to it. Entertaining, yes, but not memorable.
