The Battle of Austerlitz 1960
Wish Abel Gance could've made his 6 planned Napoleon movies in the 1920s because the 1927 movie was Something but I accept this as a compromise. It was even funny at times and the battle scenes still looked better than the 2023 movie. Also it was so brightly coloured! I miss that in historical flics!

I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians 2018
As someone with a degree in history who is constantly frustrated that my fellow countrymen still think that "tHeRe wAs nO hOlOcAuSt iN rOmAnIa" and that "aNtOnEsCu aNd zElEa cOdReAnU wErE hErOeS" I was ready midway to debunk all the usual "arguments" those people bring up but gladly the movie addresses all of them by the end.
