  "You must be from the cool side of the uterus"

  The allegory of the movie kinda stopped being an allegory in the second half in a way that felt a bit ham-fisted (they literally burn books and put up "no coloreds" signs).

  But, hey, I still enjoyed it!

  This movie felt like it had no script and it was just made up on the fly as they were filming. Like that one 007 movie from the 2007 writers strike.

  I remember seeing the card scene when I was on a plane or something but without audio, and I was like "this doesn't make sense but maybe of I saw the whole movie I'd understand." Well I watched the movie and it still makes no sense why did they pass it around so many times.

  I just wish there were more movies like Parasite, and if there are, please tell me. It's wild how this movie can basically shift genres half-way through but still feel cohesive. I also love how clearly it conveys a central message without being heavy handed or preachy. (I'm tired of having to look up director interviews to understand what subtle thesis is being presented.)
