  What if the people in The Allegory Of The Cave were actually incredibly horny? Yorgos Lanthimos has the answer.

  The cinematography and set design put the audience, from the very beginning, in an alternate beautifully haunting version of our world, yet early similar. It’s impossible to not feel mesmerized by every shot on screen.

  Emma Stone’s complex performance of Bella Baxter’s arch into a well rounded being is so seamless, that I felt amazed two hours into the movie when I realized the transformation I had witnessed.

  Poor Things ponders what being human even is, and what kind of life even is worth living.

  Grief and loneliness might be the most universal constants of humans. Nevertheless, Alexander Payne is able to find the beauty of this shared trauma that we all live daily, and takes comfort in the relationships that arise from them. 

  It takes a while to truly start, but it’s well worth it. The Holdovers takes your heart on a rollercoaster of emotions and just never lets go.
