Truly the return of the “King of the Monsters”. The force of nature and consequences of wars wrath had my hands in my hair.
Besides the grandiose of Godzilla itself the strongest point of this movie is the lead protagonist ‘Koichi Shikishima’ whose gut-wrenching performance had me in tears and the films brilliant handling of the themes of guilt and PTSD are masterclass.
