  One of the worst examples of the "Abduction as Romance" trope I've ever seen in a movie. The narrative revolves around male entitlement and never resolves its deeply creepy and downright criminal premise.

  Welp Aaron Sorkin sorkined the hell out of The Trial of the Chicago 7. The movie makes a bunch of stuff up to de-radicalize the leftist politics of the activists in order to deliver a watered-down liberal message. Some lines are even copy-pasted wholesale from other Sorkin projects. Tom Hayden and Dave Dellinger, in particular, were much more radical and principled then is shown on screen.
