  Gina Gershon... /faint. Violet is a character that feels like it was written with Jennifer Tilly in mind. Joey Pants and his descent into madness 👌. Plus how about his hair, or Christopher Maloney's hair and that red suit... what a look. Top tier visual storytelling from a directing team that would go on to revolutionize the visual aspect medium. They still haven't topped the storytelling they did in this film however.

  Horrendous dialogue delivered by acting to match. First half of the film is a slog as characters try but repeatedly fail to explain straight edge hardcore to the audience. The pieces to set up the character conflict are there, just developed poorly. Once the slasher half of the movie starts, it starts having pacing issues and feels streched. Suspension of disbelief is a must usually and certainly in this case. Want to applaud the effort, but it just didn't work on every level except that it looked okay... bummer.
