  My media teacher used this poster *multiple times* to teach us what a 'good' poster looked like. How about fucking no. It's garbage.

  This is a great design, but it also spoils the alien craft, which I think is much better experienced blind. Then again, they had to market the movie and subtle/mysterious marketing takes some balls. I wish they’d used either some art that intrigued without directly showing, or focussed on the star-power of the cast and used some of the beautifully lit/framed shots of them, such as when they’re in their hazmat suits and look striking thanks to the lighting. Either way, it’s a good poster.
