The best part of this movie was the acting, almost all around, there is not a doubt in my mind Austin Butler will win the academy award for best actor next year, however, I’m not sure what Tom Hanks was doing. Honestly Luhrmann’s films disappoint me more and more as time goes on, don’t even know if he knows what he’s doing anymore. Poorly edited with unnecessary voiceover work and montages, I’d say the experience of watching the film was better than the film itself, although I give it 2 stars, I want everyone to go see it.
