His traumatic experience and past in the movie was seemingly forgotten and expunged for a persona that he never really embodied but that people in the story and Movie Audience came to force on to him.   Aliens Romulus is secretly a fantastic movie about body horror and the inescapable grip of an oppressive corporation. The movie never lingered too much on a certain setting nor did it ever feel like it was trying to be a montage of classic Alien even though it’s highly comparable to the original.
