In the long list of fabulous baseball movies, this is another wonder addition. The movie takes place over the course of one single game. No razzle dazzle. No wild stunts. No high stakes. Just a bunch of schlubby adults playing purely for the love of the game.
It’s a love letter to the slow, methodical nature of baseball + slice of life story about the passage of time. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie!

The absolute tiniest…
One of of the most fascinating and original documentaries I’ve ever seen! If you are a Washington/Pacific Northwest native, this should be required viewing in terms of history.
Congratulations to Star Trek V: The Final Frontier for no longer carrying the burden of being the worst Star Trek movie in existence!
I have been pretty receptive and even apologetic for a lot of “New Trek” but even I have to draw the line somewhere. Section 31 was a thoroughly unpleasant viewing experience and I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Michelle Yeoh is always great and I wish she was in a better movie. Other than her, a cast of incredibly annoying and unlikable characters… specifically the fake “Vulcan” robot guy.
An absolutely delightful movie with a story that’s far more interesting/entertaining than you’d think. I’d recommend this movie to anyone!
