When I heard the sad news I knew I had to rewatch this as soon as possible. I already thought it was perfect the first time but somehow even better on a second viewing.
I think even if you aren’t a fan of Lynch, this should still be considered a huge artistic loss simply because nobody else ever made, nor will anyone else ever make movies like these. There will never be another Lynch, and that’s probably the best praise you can give an artist.
