Pretty good film on rewatch considering the way part of the plot is structured. I really appreciated the colours and set design a lot more, it’s a well done movie visually. The script is kinda cliche at whole lot of points though, and honestly some of the implications of the ending are kinda weird, regarding, like, whether we should treat mental asylum patients with dignity, so a little wacky there. Solid movie overall though, mark ruffalo is always the goat 🙏

Uncut Gems 2019
I forgot how stressful this damn movie is 😭even on rewatch there are points where I was tricked into forgetting key details just because of how rapid and overwhelming the plot is, which makes it more realistic when the characters also can’t keep track of what’s going on. Super immersive and engaging, just as good on second watch

👟Well made and very funny but I would’ve enjoyed it way more if the stupid audience in the theatre laughed at the funny moments and was silent in the sad moments instead of doing the opposite, but I guess we live in a world of fools. Al Pacino is such a funny tiny little man
