Brutal, visceral and surprisingly moving with a remarkable central performance from Joe Cole. I think a Thai prison is quite possibly the scariest place on earth after watching this....

Cleverly combining classic horror movie tropes with a subversive take on the American dream, Jordon Peele’s follow up to Get Out has a fresh feel and a lot going on. Without moving into spoiler territory it is difficult to discuss some of the limitations of the film, particularly in regard to the logic of some major plot points.... Still, a lot to like here but not quite a classic for me.

Trippy... haunting... and just a wee bit disturbing. I loved the themes running through the film. Im not really sure what happened in the last 30 mins but i was completely engrossed. A film that takes you to interesting places but doesnt give answers (in the best possible way). I think it will stick with me for a long time.
