  Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 2016

  This is a pretty good movie. It's worse than I remembered it being. It drags on for so long in the first half for no reason and then all the good stuff happens at the end. I like the characters, and while I like that they die, I think it's stupid that they make it so clear that ALL of them die. I understand that they had to die because they had no place in the other movies, but it was just a little annoying that for like 10 minutes they all just died.

  This is actually a really good movie. While I don't enjoy all the retconning and I find it hard to believe that everything that made Han Han happened in as short a time as the film suggests, it's really enjoyable. I love basically every casting decision made here. The guy that plays Han does really well and Childish Gambino/Donald Glover is perfect for Lando. I find the amount of double-crossing a little hard to believe and confusing, and the whole droid thing is unnecessary and a little distracting, but it's still a really good movie.

  This is a pretty solid movie. One of the things that I didn't like was that it relied so much on cgi in a completely unnecessary way, and it doesn't even look that great. I'm sure it was revolutionary for the time, but when a movie relies on new technology like this one does it's bound to become outdated. The podracing scene does look really good though.
