    this just didn’t hit. it wants to explore something meaningful, but it floats in vagueness the entire time. it throws around heavy themes without ever digging into them. everything feels distant, like it cares more about looking meaningful than actually being meaningful. i couldn’t connect with it. it just felt empty, and honestly, kind of performative.

    uhmm... this movie’s premise leaves me utterly perplexed because it starts off as expected: take a substance, and you’re promised a younger, more beautiful version of yourself. and then it veers into absurdity by giving this new version its own consciousness. why in the world would it have its own mind? i’m supposed to be the one benefitting, yet it creates a separate being entirely, undercutting any illusion of transformation and literally defeating the whole purpose of the movie.
