  It’s more of a “dramatic thriller with some scares” than a pure Horror movie, but Wolf Man boasts a worthwhile story with some satisfying emotional payoffs, terrific direction, and a pitch-perfect lead performance that makes for an equal parts scary, tragic, and entertaining night at the multiplex.

Christopher Reeve is a great Superman, yes, but he’s just a good man. And his legacy should extend far beyond the red cape. Hopefully this film will have a hand in making that happen.
