Rare instance of modern Disney making an exceptional film. Great music, great art direction, wonderful messaging. Characters who received very little screen time were extremely entertaining.
Truly a well put-together project through and through, and I kick myself for waiting this long to watch it.
Overrated and overspent. It's hard to mess up a movie set in the most interesting period in human history but Tarantino somehow managed 🙏🏼 I've got to hand it to him.
I know it's an extremely low budget film, but I feel sincerely think this would have been better left in the drafts. If you're an aspiring painter or (x) type of artist, you can create your first pieces (which will be bad, that's okay) and keep it between you and your close friends. You wouldn't necessarily publish those pieces for the whole world to see.

It's essentially got a cast of only two people like The Lighthouse, only instead of being one of the most engaging films of the last decade, it's horrendously boring.
Every time it feels like it's about to find its footing, it drops down again and you're left with the main character staring off camera with a horrified expression. None of these scenes have any pay-off worth a damn, except the last one, but by then it's too late.
Great actor; bad film.
