    This is the absolutely laziest form of film commentary but that doesn’t make it any less true that this hits way harder watching it as a parent compared to watching it prior to having kids. My reaction then was “neat, but hokey.” Today, “doesn’t quite nail the dismount, but tonally perfect.” 

    And it eerily presaged so much of the decadence conversation!

    The only thing more bonkers than casting your daughter as the T Swift stand-in at whose concert an FBI profiler is sure she will catch a serial killer is casting Hayley Mills (?!?!) as that FBI profiler - I swear I was waiting for the twist to be she had a twin who was going to factor in at some point
