Marooned 1969
Gene Hackman (RiP) and Gregory Peck in an ancestor to movies like Apollo 13 and the Martian. This is too slow-paced and dry for modern audiences, but at the very least it has some more harrowing and grave moments than anything you see in its aforementioned descendants. And I enjoyed the detail and realism of the Houston control room chatter and launch procedures.

Star Trek: Section 31 2025
Let's say your favorite show was Euphoria and they did a season where they tried to be like C-SPAN and characters just took votes on tax law. Or say you loved the Harry Potter movies but they did one where they just talk about renovating houses like an HGTV show. Sure, maybe you'd be morbidly curious, but I bet most of you would be pretty frustrated that they decided to make something so antithetical to what made you love them…

Dracula 1931
Hooptober X #???
More funny than scary, especially the foppish sissy Jonathan Harker and comically useless Van Helsing, who does little more than frequently mansplain things about vampires.
Definitely some gorgeous gothic scenery and, of course, two iconic performances in Lugosi's titular spook and Dwight Frye's Renfield. Both are so over the top and recognizable it's easy to see why both have been the stuff of homage and parody for several generations now.
