A good but strange movie. Fever dream like sequences, the elegance and beauty of the actors and actresses paired with the cold and anxiety-ridden mood that runs throughout. A movie full of visually stunning allusions and nightmarish metaphorical references. This, coupled with the almost psychoanalytical insights into the dark processing of the protagonists' souls, make David Lynch‘s movie „Mulholland Drive“ his artistic Opus Magnum - one of his most characteristic and unique artistic signposts. A grande cinematic legacy which is one thing above all: a good but very, very strange movie.
