  My least favorite Haneke so far, but there’s still lots I haven’t seen. This one just didn’t resonate with me. The subject matter felt uninteresting after a certain point. It definitely feels like a Haneke film, but less artful and thought provoking than other works I’ve seen of his.

  This surprised me. The subject matter piqued my interest from the trailer, and it totally delivered for me.

  Managing to carry a sense of dread and mystery throughout using a dialogue heavy plot (which is impressive from a horror movie), I found myself glued to the screen in anticipation of what would happen next. The entire cast is fantastic, but Hugh Grant delivers a standout performance. 

  Definitely a contender for my favorite horror of the year. (Haven’t seen nosferatu yet)
