So glad for a fun, gay movie with very little that has aged poorly. It has traces of the masquerade of queer deception for personal gain like in Some Like It Hot and some wild scenes with masking in front of family that must have inspired The Birdcage. And then so much more besides that that makes it its own separate campy thing.
The edit is very The Brady Bunch-esque and I find that charming. There's an outrageously funny script and performances. I want the full cut, it seems like there were several scenes cut for time.
