The Talented Mr. Ripley 1999
Two diffirent movies pre and post dickies death. Pacing is very solid, especially first half. Mr ripley crawls deeper and depper under your skin making you wanna put the movie away but its impossible, Cause you're on the frrrkn hook. The narrative becomes a bit messy after dickies death. Mr ripley is like an evil parrot sent to morph into his victim. Great symbolism with broken mirrors, errased passport photos, italian Christian symbols and the butched pigs right as mr ripley leaves new york for italy.
