The Banshees of Inisherin 2022
Cinematically, it’s beautiful. I do appreciate the allegory of the civil war and the pointlessness of the spat can apply to some modern relations, as well. Some of the soundtrack totally threw me off though. The song in the beginning though is a Bulgarian folkloric song called Полегнала е Тодора (Todora is Taking a Nap—would be a good translation of it).
