Proof that you don't need a big budget to be iconic. I love this DIY sci-fi omnibus and it's stream of consciousness structure. Sometimes it's a detective movie in the vein of Alphaville, sometimes it's a grim dystopia, other times it's full blown sketch comedy, and there's even a section that is a documentary. More than anything, it will make you want to sing.

I was very proud to present this film on back to back nights at Eyesore Cinema in July 2024. Take me back there!

I got exactly what I expected from this film, and nothing more (dreadful atmosphere, attention to historical detail, and many characters acting like horny little freaks). Characterization was a little thin, and I wish I understood more about Lily Rose-Depp's characters motivations. It's probably overrated in general but I really liked it. I wish it was longer.

I probably shouldn’t have watched it on a heroic dose of mushrooms, but I did. I will never forget that smell.

An honest look at the plight of the musician in society. Watch as the hope in young artists' eyes go out as they realize they have a lifetime of pain and failure ahead of them as they battle the forces of gentrification and spotification, which are only exacerbated by the pandemic.

    I am in the movie.
