    A Complete Unknown

I feel like all insight into Bob Dylan is still a complete unknown after watching this. I enjoyed the performances, the music, the vibes - I think the casting was great. This just never made it greater then the sum of it's parts for me - but I was entertained, a good music biopic pretty much just needs to avoid being bad for it to be good.

"Money is like heroin for boring people"

This script is very blunt. People levy criticism of this and Sorkins work as having unrealistic dialogue. While I understand the sentiment, I've also grown to hate that criticism. Dialog without purpose is dialog, dialog with purpose is art.

Kieran carries as the lynchpin of the film and Eisenberg plays a great neurotic audience stand-in. I think it's a great debut and a good watch.

This movie has no idea what it wants to be which makes it entertaining. Ron Funches on screen having fun gives it another star.

My older brother loved it, we rented it so much we ended up buying it. I watched that VHS copy so much I even digitized a version of it before the DVD released so I would never lose it. It's fun in a way…
