    Honestly, better than I could have expected. They not only hit all the important emotional beats, they expanded and enhanced them in such powerful and heartfelt ways. This gives me hope you hate they'll be able to stick the landing when part 2 releases to theaters.

    A fun movie and exercise is processing trauma and break ups and having to still function in a world that sometimes feels like doesn't give a crap about you. A very cathartic monster rom com to help folks trying to heal and let go and sometimes having to embrace that people suck, it's not your fault and it's okay to be angry about it.

    The film was a lot of fun and an absolute delight. It will definitely be one that I watch again. The entire cast was brilliant and the children at the camp also shone incredibly bright. Even from the trailer, I knew there was going to be similar vibes to Camp (2003), and it was that and so much more. The finale song "Camp Isn't Home" is going to be stuck in my head for some time and I welcome it there.

There were moments where it was visually very pretty, but the dialog slog and overcomplicated story was still too much. It could have been interesting.
