During the six decades after Norman Bates first made his appearance through Hitchcock's creative eyes, myriad other suspense thrillers followed suit to place the viewer on the edge of their seat. And I was naive enough to think that despite his greatness, Hitchcock's "suspense" would be blunted by time and would only elicit yawns from me. But I was completely wrong. Hitchcock is the unparalleled fount of suspense.

Those sunset shots on the terrace were so serene and quaint and Siddarth and Samhita really did a good job bringing that energy in.
Would have loved this more if the SPB references were less obtrusive. I went into this film with a notion that there is going to be some kind of philosophical/cultural exchange around SPB. But alas the hackneyed "We bond over a song" trope made itself known ever so strongly. Would have appreciated more subtelty and less cliches! All in all, a good film! All the best guys!

Films like this are similar to fast food. They do not do anything extraordinary but offer your palate something that is hard to find in the staple. Nevertheless, impending diarrhea looms over you but surely doesn't mitigate your appetite for this food in the future.

I like Zebra since I am a sucker for plots having characters vying for something while the viewer is not even given a moment to breathe. I love being crammed with details about a bank's way of functioning. Despite all the details, I still managed to stick with the film simply because it was so fun and fast.

Halfway into this I almost thought it was just going to be another revenge plot but this turned out to be a more closer look at the revenger than any revenge film, I believe, has ever done. What Fincher does here differently from other revenge thrillers is that he gives the "killer" a set of very distinct beliefs. All The killer wants here is the job, he just likes killing. It takes a Tilda Swinton conversation to bring this out…
