This was Yasmin Ahmad's last film and what a beautiful film it is. Even though it is a well-loved film, I think many Malaysians still hype Sepet more and perhaps her early passing overshadowed how amazing this film was. I personally think was her best film, from the story to the casting, just a beautiful depiction of a perfectly imperfect Malaysia.
There are still some things I don't get like the strawberry scene and generally Yasmin loves to leave her…
