Avatar: The Way of Water 2022
Unrelentingly punishing and offensive to my core. I came in with low expectations and left kinda pissed. Bloated and not written in a way that honors any fundamental storytelling that I tend to care about. Highly don’t recommend. Not even all that pretty to me.
Why make actors hold their breath for record times all to tell this meh story? Was that Moby Dick shoved in toward the end? Sigourney Weaver as a teen was the only thing I kinda liked and mostly for its potential which it didn’t actually serve in a meaningful way.Translated from by -
