What a joy it was to see this picture on the imax big screen in a resorted 4k version.

By far Miyazaki’s most brutal film. Touching on the elements of man’s greed on Earth and the relationship we have with nature. Rivaling Nausicaä in its massive scale that feels unlike most Miyazaki films. A love story at its core surrounded by so much more, which is really all Miyazaki films. Not the first time I’ve seen this because growing up it felt like I was being forced to watch this everyday. However, still a really sick movie years later. Invincible: Atom Eve

For the past six weeks I got to watch a movie, then Severance, then Invincible every Thursday and with Invincible season ending last week and Severance ending this week figured this would be the perfect watch. Man is this fucking brilliant. Builds on Eve so well while having major sauce in its fight sequences. It’s really crazy how I would take the world conquering Viltrumite father over Eve’s parents.
