Fando and Lis 1968
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This is very hard for me to review... the spider scene kind of sums up the movie. Fando looks like a child with a pet, but without a parent nearby to yell at him to stop being an asshole. Although he loves his pet, he just kind of wants to see what happens if he's cruel, as he hasn't fully developed empathy. The pet, being powerless...
Although I love the movie, Fando's cruelty makes me sick. I'm too sad to rate it higher.

This is what I consider an horror movie, the helplessness of humanity against technology, the pragmatical takes to our shortcomings, full of good intentions, and the snowball effect it generates, and how powerless we are against change... the themes it tackles are way greater than the story it tells, though.
