The White Devil is just another pessimistic attempt at making a good folk horror movie, defined by a foreseeable premise, awful performances, and poor quality editing.
I honestly don’t really have much to say about this one since there’s nothing salvageable in the project. Definitely the worst feature film I’ve watched during the challenge (at least for now).

I was honestly expecting so much more from this film since the plot had a lot of potential. For a psychological horror film, it’s pretty weak in so many aspects; one of those being the script, which I consider the base of the project.
The performances weren’t bad for a low-budget project, and neither were the atmosphere and different shots that composed the movie, but there’s nothing to do with that without a consistent script.…
