  Right after watching you’re just kind of left with a feeling of “wtf even happened?” due to the insane amount of plotlines going on at once, but when you sit down and think about it you just realize what it’s all about. The past hurts. It hurts bad. It leaves people broken and damaged, wallowing in a pit of their own despair that they just can’t seem to climb out of. But eventually, they have to wake up and climb (🐸) or succumb and fail.

  social commentary that is enjoyable and well made. released at the right time as it seems something like the events in this film could happen at any point in our near future lmfao. bong joon-ho continues to show faults of social class and capitalism while still making it a great watch, even when these themes have been done so many times and can start to feel repetitive
