Harper's Island 2009
This series was very much overlooked in its time, and to an extent I can understand why. The first four episodes of this murder mystery go by at a snails pace. They’re full of obvious red herrings, soap opera performances and weak plot lines.
But after episode five, the show really picks up and doesn’t stop until it reaches a bittersweet conclusion.
I know some people have issues with the ultimate killer reveal, but I thought it was done well.…

Wicked 2024
Sometimes a movie isn’t necessarily made for you but you can appreciate it. I didn’t love all of this movie, but it’s very well made and is anchored by two really strong lead performances.
This movie is overly long, it lingers on segments and moments for longer than it should and the message is heavy handed. But, the production design really off sets a lot that, this movie is really fun to look at.

Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021
One of the most underwhelming films I’ve ever watched. This film is a pandemic movie and you can feel it. No one feels like they are in the same room as each other (I’m convinced Jamie foxx was never on set with any of the actors in this movie).
I remember people calling this the best of 2021. Really? This isn’t even the best holland Spider-Man movie.
This movie is lucky it has Garfield and Dafoe both acting their asses…
