  The concept here is fantastic. Companion could have either become a true-blue sophisticated smart people movie or a killer slasher thriller, but it tried to split the difference.

  I wanted to see more development of Kat's character. Being able to contrast her and Iris' relationships with Josh would have taken this in a much more interesting direction. Unfortunately, Kat's comment about being an accessory was a little too on the nose. I would have enjoyed the slasher too. I don't know. What I got was good, but not great.

  The worms were groundbreaking. The worm who wormed up to Tim Cham and was like "Hey, I think you're Lisan al-Gaib!" stole the show. Can't believe the other worm was kind enough to let everyone safely get out of the spice extraction machine before busting into worm mode. Wormtacular.
