A Complete Unknown 2024
This felt like award bait for Chalamet more than a completed work. After seeing Chalamet’s award speech for this role about wanting to be one of the greats (which I found was very inspirational) I was expecting this biopic to be more centred around that theme. It felt like it was at times playing with that but sort of ultimately relied on being a complete unknown too much.
