  Awe-inspiring, beautiful, acerbic, electrifying. These are a few words that summarize my experience with Snyder's "cut" (I say this lightly as it is less of a cut and more of a mastering). I would implore all of you to watch this in the black and white version for ultimate immersion. Snyder's religious iconography persists through all his work, and hits home strongly in this volume as he explores the burgeoning genre of superheroes as menaces... or rather, gods amongst men. An easy five out of five stars for me, would have given this six stars if Martian Manhunter had more screen time.
