  Odd experience to finally watch something so central to the imagery of stuff you already love 33 years or so down the line from where that stuff started. Silent Hill, Hideo Kojima, the best parts of the Sopranos dream / end of life sequences, etc. etc. etc. ! I would have loved this on its own terms but it was already in my brain thanks to other people who loved it.
