I knew this movie probably wouldn't be good, and it really wasn't anything spectacular, but I don't really care. I still enjoyed it!
Sometimes it is enough to spend your Saturday afternoon watching a mid-tier thriller movie that has Nicole Kidman, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Matthew MacFayden in it.
I watched this movie because I wanted to see the two minute scene with Liam and Noel (it was awesome, the actors did a great job), but WOW. This movie was actually, really quite good!
Perhaps one of my new favorite biopics (there will never be one better than Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story though) and definitely one of the best performances of "My Way" in a movie (Sid Vicious' rendition in the Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle might still…
I have been meaning to watch this movie forever, and with the sad news of David Lynch's passing today, I thought that I should finally go ahead and watch this movie. And the main thing I thought after finishing this movie is that it truly is a tragedy that David Lynch will never make another movie again.
More specific to this movie though is that the whole time I was watching it I was rotating between three thoughts:
1) What the hell is going on?
2) Ohh it's about the fears associated with parenthood and unplanned pregnancy.
and
3) The eraserhead baby is adorable.
