  Gut punch of an ending. was expecting Mikey to be great and she was, didn’t know much about the rest of the cast going in but Yura was really incredible. Hope I see him in more.

  When I was 6 years old my dad had this on VHS and Marlon Brando’s floating red face on the cover gave me nightmares for weeks.

  19 years later I’ve finally worked up the courage to conquer my fears, and my lord was it worth it. The remarkable visuals, stellar performances, and disturbingly haunting tone blew my already high expectations out of the water. It’s hard to really digest the astonishing scale of this movie without giving it some time or watching it again, but I’m blown away. 

  Unfortunately my Brando nightmares are probably coming back.

  Incredibly well crafted with some pretty disturbing implications. Need to sit on this a while longer and potentially give it another rewatch, but my god that final shot.
