Past Lives 2023
I wonder when I watch movies in other languages whether it is the limits of translation which often make the dialogue a kind of blunt I probably wouldn’t tolerate as well if it were in English. Past Lives, however, pulls no punches in the overt beauty of its language in both Korean and English, which for me became its best quality.
