Basically nightmare on elm street meets deer hunter and yes they play it completely straight; god I love David a Prior movies and this one is certainly interesting, surprisingly serious and utterly ridiculous, what more do you expect from a movie about Vietnam vets sleeping with guns in their hands so they can literally kill their ptsd dream demons?!
